In this in-depth interview with Mr. Varun Singh, the Managing Director of XIPHIAS reflects on a 16+ year journey in investment migration and global mobility. From redefining migration as a strategic necessity to building a compliance-first, future-ready advisory, the conversation explores leadership, ethics, client trust, and the evolving landscape of global citizenship. It offers a clear, human-centered perspective on how mobility when done lawfully and thoughtfully can become a tool for stability, growth, and generational security.
We started the interview by asking, “Your career spans over 16 years in investment migration and global mobility. What originally drew you to this space?”
Varun Singh replied, “My journey into investment migration began with a simple realization global mobility is no longer a luxury; it’s a strategic necessity. Early in my career, I saw families and entrepreneurs struggle not because of lack of opportunity, but due to limited access to the right jurisdictions, structures, and guidance. That gap inspired me to build XIPHIAS with a long-term vision: to make lawful, transparent, and value-driven global mobility accessible to serious investors. Over the years, helping thousands of families secure stability, growth, and global freedom has reinforced my belief that migration, when done right, is a powerful tool for transformation rather than an escape.”
Times CEO Magazine: How does XIPHIAS differentiate itself in an increasingly crowded investment migration industry?
Varun Singh replied, “At XIPHIAS, we don’t sell passports or residencies, we design future-ready strategies. Our differentiation lies in combining compliance, investment intelligence, and long-term wealth planning. Every solution we offer is backed by due diligence, government collaborations, and a deep understanding of real estate, business expansion, and international law. We work closely with legal experts, developers, and policymakers to ensure our clients’ investments are sustainable and defensible for decades. Integrity is non-negotiable for us. That commitment has earned us industry recognition and, more importantly, the trust of high-net-worth individuals who see XIPHIAS as a strategic partner, not a transactional consultant.”
Times CEO Magazine: You advise HNIs and entrepreneurs globally. What are their biggest concerns today?
Varun Singh replied, “The biggest concern today is uncertainty geopolitical, economic, and regulatory. HNIs are no longer asking, “Where should I invest?” They’re asking, “How do I protect my family, assets, and mobility in an unpredictable world?” Tax efficiency, education access, healthcare, and business continuity across borders have become central to decision-making. My role is to help clients convert uncertainty into opportunity by diversifying jurisdictions, structuring assets wisely, and aligning migration decisions with long-term goals. When mobility is planned strategically, it becomes a powerful hedge against volatility and a catalyst for global growth.”
Times CEO Magazine: Citizenship-by-investment and residency programs often face scrutiny. How do you ensure compliance and credibility?
Varun Singh replied, “Scrutiny is healthy, it separates genuine advisors from opportunistic players. As a Fellow of the Investment Migration Council, I strictly adhere to global best practices, ethical standards, and compliance frameworks. At XIPHIAS, every program we recommend undergoes rigorous legal, financial, and geopolitical evaluation. We prioritize transparency with clients, clearly outlining benefits, risks, and obligations. Our focus is on lawful pathways backed by government-approved programs and tangible investments like real estate or business ventures. Credibility isn’t built overnight; it’s earned through consistent integrity, responsible advisory, and outcomes that stand the test of time.”
Times CEO Magazine: Your leadership has helped XIPHIAS earn multiple awards. What leadership philosophy guides you?
Varun Singh replied, “My leadership philosophy is rooted in accountability, innovation, and people-first thinking. Awards are a byproduct of culture, not the goal. I believe in empowering teams with clarity, continuous learning, and ethical responsibility. Whether it’s adopting AI-driven leadership strategies or expanding into sustainable prefab construction through XIPHIAS Projects, innovation must serve a real purpose. I also believe leaders must remain grounded listening to clients, understanding market shifts, and adapting without compromising values. When teams feel aligned with a meaningful mission, excellence follows naturally.”
Times CEO Magazine: You are also the author of RAAH: A New Path. How does writing complement your professional journey?
Varun Singh replied, “Writing RAAH was deeply personal. After working with over six thousand families, I realized migration isn’t just a legal or financial decision, it’s an emotional and moral one. The book reframes migration as a journey driven by hope, clarity, and lawful intent rather than fear or escape. Writing allows me to humanize an industry often misunderstood and misrepresented. It also reinforces my responsibility as an advisor to guide with empathy, honesty, and long-term vision. The response to RAAH has been humbling, as it resonated with people far beyond the migration space.”
Lastly we asked, “What is your vision for the future of global mobility and XIPHIAS Group?”
“The future of global mobility will be more strategic, regulated, and purpose-driven. Investors will seek ecosystems not just countries that support business growth, lifestyle quality, and generational security. My vision for XIPHIAS is to remain ahead of this curve by integrating investment migration with global real estate, sustainable infrastructure, and intelligent wealth structuring. We aim to expand responsibly, embrace technology, and deepen collaborations with governments and institutions worldwide. Ultimately, success for me is measured by impact helping individuals and businesses build resilient global futures with confidence and clarity.” Varun Singh concluded
