House Finder works with top developers like EMAAR and Dubai Properties, offering well-researched advice for investors and homebuyers. Arshad believes real estate is about relationships, not just transactions, and he remains optimistic about the future of Dubai’s property market.

From Marketing to Real Estate

Times CEO Magazine: Arshad, tell us a little about your journey and what inspired you to start House Finder Real Estate.

Arshad Darbar replied, ” replied, “My journey has been anything but straightforward, and that’s what makes it meaningful. I started in marketing and business management, which helped me grasp consumer behavior, branding, and the importance of trust. Over time, I transitioned into real estate investment management, working closely with buyers, sellers, and developers across Dubai.

I noticed that many clients felt overwhelmed. The market presented opportunities but lacked clarity and personalized guidance. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to address that gap. House Finder was created with a clear purpose: to make property buying and investing easier, more transparent, and truly focused on the client.”

Turning Pandemic Challenges into Opportunity

Times CEO Magazine: Starting a real estate company during a global pandemic sounds challenging. What was that experience like?

Arshad Darbar replied, “It was definitely challenging but also incredibly motivating. The pandemic created uncertainty, but it also pushed people to rethink how business should be conducted. Instead of waiting for “better times,” we focused on quickly adjusting to the situation.

We embraced digital solutions, virtual viewings, and clear communication. Most importantly, we prioritized educating clients instead of pushing for sales. That approach helped us build trust early on. Looking back, starting during COVID taught us resilience and formed the strong foundation we have today.”

Times CEO Magazine: House Finder is known for luxury off-plan and ready properties. What sets you apart from other real estate firms in Dubai?

Arshad Darbar replied, “For us, it’s never just about selling a property. It’s about understanding what the client really needs. Some are looking for long-term capital appreciation, others want rental income, and some are searching for a place to call home.

We work closely with top developers like EMAAR, MERAAS, and Dubai Properties, but we don’t blindly promote projects. Every recommendation is grounded in research, market trends, and the client’s goals. Our role is more advisory than transactional, and I believe that’s what truly sets us apart.”

Times CEO Magazine: Dubai continues to attract investors from around the world. Why do you think the city is so appealing right now?

Additionally, tax advantages, high rental yields, and global connectivity make it an attractive destination.

We see strong interest from investors in the UK, Europe, India, and Singapore. Many are drawn not just by returns but by the quality of life and stability that Dubai provides.”

Arshad Darbar replied, “I believe leadership is about leading by example. I make it a point to stay involved, accessible, and supportive. At House Finder, we emphasize training and ethics. Our consultants are encouraged to think like advisors, not salespeople.

When your team understands the bigger picture and feels valued, they naturally perform better. Trust, accountability, and continuous learning are the foundations of our internal culture.”

Times CEO Magazine: How important is technology in your business, and how do you balance it with personal service?

Arshad Darbar replied, “Technology plays a significant role in how we operate, from CRM systems to market analytics and digital marketing. It helps us work smarter and respond faster.

That said, real estate is still a people-driven business. Technology supports our work, but relationships are what drive it. We use tech to improve the client experience, not to replace human interaction. The personal touch will always be central to what we do.”

A Vision for Sustainable Growth

Times CEO Magazine: What’s next for House Finder Real Estate, and how do you see the future of the UAE real estate market?

Arshad Darbar replied, “Our focus is on sustainable growth. We are expanding our team, strengthening our processes, and opening new branch offices, including in key locations like Jumeirah Beach Residence.

As for the UAE real estate market, I’m very optimistic. The demand is global, the policies are progressive, and the vision is long-term. At House Finder, we aim to grow alongside the market, helping investors reach their goals while positively contributing to Dubai’s real estate ecosystem.”
